About the event
Conti Zecca is a historic family estate in Leverano, in the heart of Salento, where the Zecca family has lived and farmed for five centuries. In 1884, the family was granted the title of Count by Pope Leo XIII, giving the winery the name it still carries today. Long associated with Negroamaro and the traditional grapes of southern Puglia, Conti Zecca has helped elevate Salento through single-vineyard wines, careful parcel selection, and a mix of tradition and experimentation in the cellar.
Join us for an intimate guided tasting of four Conti Zecca wines, presented by Clemente Zecca himself! Count Zecca represents the newest generation of the historic Conti Zecca family, which has been farming in Salento for more than 500 years. The son of Mario Zecca, Clemente joined the family winery after studying economics and has become one of the driving forces behind its move toward organic farming, cru-focused wines…
